Art: 2 point city

Adapted from: https://makeamarkstudios.com/how-to-draw-a-2-point-perspective-city-for-beginners/

Draw a horizon line across the page. Add two vanishing points. Draw a vertical line somewhere between your two vanishing points. Connect the top and bottom of the vertical line to your vanishing points. This is now a corner of your building, we will call it the mid line. . Draw two more vertical lines, one on each side of the mid line. These are the other edges of your building and should connect to the vanishing point closest to them, using the lines you connected to the mid line. Draw some more lines to the mid line, these will be windows for the building. You can draw another vertical line between the corner of your building and each vanishing point. Follow the same steps to make another building. Draw a v that leads out from one of your vanishing points to make a road. Draw a dashed line from the center of the v to make road lines. The road lines should be shorter closer to the vanishing point and longer as they get further away.

Art: 1 point building

Adapted from https://helloartsy.com/one-point-perspective/ (scroll down to Open point Perspective buildings for a step by step guide)

Draw a horizon line. Add a vanishing point. Draw a rectangle. Connect the rectangle’s corners to the vanishing point. Add in windows on the front facing part of the rectangle, they don’t have to be connected to the vanishing point. Add a door in the center bottom of the building. Find the center by drawing two lines that cross in the middle of building from one top corner to the bottom corner on the other side of the front (ie. Top left to bottom right, Top right to bottom left). Then draw a light line through the x where they cross and you will have the center.)

Art: 1 point perspective name

Draw a horizon line. Add a vanishing point. Draw out your first name in block letters, and then add is ___________. Put something nice about yourself in the blank. Connect the corners of all of the letters to the vanishing point and make them 3d. Color in the letters.

Art: Character 4 lines art

Divide a paper in to five parts, with a box in the middle, and four equal parts around it.

In the middle box, draw a character. Then each box draw the same character, but change the lines to be 1: straight, 2, gentle curves, 3, undulating curves (big curves), 4, jagged lines. How does the emotional feeling of the character change?

Art: Bark

Find a piece of bark about 6-8 cm long. Draw it in pencil, with shades, tones and details. Take a picture of it so you can show it to me when you hand it in for marking.
